“Black and Missing” is the name of a new HBO docuseries featuring the amazing work of the women behind the Black and Missing Foundation.
Sisters-in-law, Derrica and Natalie Wilson, are the focus in the HBO docuseries. In it, award-winning journalist and activist Soledad O’Brien follows the Wilsons as they bring much needed attention to overlooked cases, and the struggles many Black families encounter when trying to get support from law enforcement.
The docuseries debuts on HBO on Nov. 23. The Wilson sisters and O’Brien join Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss the documentary and the disparities concerning the attention given to cases of missing Black people.
All this and more on “Making the Case.”
