“Statistics show that most youth are reported missing in the spring and summer months,” said BAMFI Founder Natalie Wilson and Derrica Wilson. “Our goal is to teach our children how to defend themselves in potentially harmful situations, so they will feel less angst.”
“As a native Washingtonian, and pastor of Liberty Christian Church, I’ve vowed to take action at the community level after witnessing the epidemic of missing children,” said Pastor Timothy McLean. “We must show them how to defend themselves against predators looking to take advantage of them.”
Parents, who would like to sign their children up to participate, contact BAMFI. Registration max: 50 children.
