Today, on what would be her 29th birthday, Black and Missing Foundation, Inc. is remembering the life of Tamika Huston who disappeared in May 2004 from Spartanburg, South Carolina and was ultimately found murdered.

Local Organization Launches Service to Focus on Cases of Missing Persons of Color

Derrica Wilson, president and CEO of Black and Missing Foundation, Inc. (BAM FI), today announced the launch of a free, Web-based service whose mission is to maximize exposure of missing persons of color so that they can be reunited with their loved ones.

It has been so hard. She went missing on April 20, 2009. I agree totally that law enforcement and the media in some instances do us no justice.
